MODERN WELLBEING

EVENTS & WORKSHOPS

For Businesses and Individuals

Why does KALA exist?

To provide a modern approach to wellbeing.

We started KALA because most wellbeing spaces aren’t built for a wider audience, often leaving out certain groups and individuals - or if they are more inclusive, they don’t speak their language. Too often it’s overly spiritual, vague, or you need to be an expert in yoga.

We wanted something different. Something direct, practical and built for the realities two of the biggest groups face today: the everyday office worker and men. Targeting Stress, isolation, burnout, poor sleep and being stuck in city life. So we created it.

We wanted KALA to offer a better option, one that doesn’t require changing who you are or knowing your astrology chart, but just showing up.

That’s why we created KALA Business, to bring accessible, team social wellbeing experiences directly into the workplace…

and KALA Social, offering modern wellbeing events for the everyman, who haven’t tried wellbeing before, but want to start.

Who are KALA

KALA was founded by two friends with a shared passion, to make wellbeing more accessible.

A man sitting cross-legged on the floor, laughing and smiling, surrounded by a group of people during a yoga or meditation class.
  • Alex claims to be a ‘regular guy’ and can be found watching any sport in the pub or squashed up against the door on the northern line. He came across freediving a few years ago where he first realised a connection between breath and the mental state. Now a certified yoga instructor and freediver, he teaches breath control and mindfulness as tools for calm and clarity. His approach to exercise on the mat blends strength, balance and mental focus, shaped by his experience leading both energising flows and restorative sessions. All he wants is for more people to try some of the simple and practical wellbeing tools KALA and others offer.

  • Kate’s expertise lies in somatic therapy, where she works with the body and mind to help release tension, stress, and emotional blockages. With a strong background in yoga and somatic healing, she specializes in using body-centered techniques to promote nervous system regulation, reduce stress, and cultivate emotional resilience. Her holistic approach allows her to create deeply transformative experiences that address both physical and emotional wellbeing.
